Starland Yard offers a variety of rotating food trucks each week, hosts Vittoria Pizzeria where renowned Chef Kyle Jacovino slings Neopolitan pies, and is home to the yard bar for beer, wine, cocktails and frozen drinks. We curate special events featuring local music, art and culture weekly. The Yard is a family-friendly, safe and fun option for people who might not agree on what to eat or drink, but agree they’re looking for a good time together.
EVENTS GUIDE
UPPER PAVILLION
An open-air rooftop courtyard overlooking the Yard. It has a bar rail around 50% of the area with high top chairs and a mix of lounge style seating. The rooftop is backed by a vine-covered, metal lattice and strung with café lights. This space can only be accessed by stairway.
LOWER PAVILLION
Just below the rooftop courtyard, this covered area of the same size can hold up to 50 people with tabled seating. It has tables and chairs of standard height and picnic tables with a vibrant mural hand painted on a shipping container as a backdrop. THE LOWER PAVILLION HOSTS CEILING FANS FOR THE WARMER MONTHS AND INFRARED HEATERS DURING THE COOLER PART OF THE YEAR.
SINGLE COVERED CONTAINER
Next door to the pavilion or by the PATIO, there are two options available. The pavilion container is accessed from the turf/play area and can be reserved with the pavilions. this area can seat around 18 people. The PATIO container is somewhat more private in its own corner of the Yard and can seat around 12 people. Both containers have two flat screen TVs. Please be aware of the live music schedule.
THE TURF
This grassy space has more table surfaces and doubles as a play area with optional cornhole and giant jenga. Sail shades cover this area from the hot summer sun.. the turf can’t be reserved alone, however, the upper pavilion, lower pavilion and a single container may be reserved together for a corner buyout to include the turf area at no extra cost. A corner buyout may have up to 150 people.
THE PATIO
Located across from The Turf area on the west side of the park is The Patio. The Patio can seat around 30 people with a mix of chairs, hightops, and benches. This area is available for semi private events in conjunction with the nearest single covered container with two televisions. An upright container may also be added to this area for an additional private seating area.
OPEN EVENTS
SEMI-PRIVATE EVENTS
Best for Non-Profits, Military, Small Groups etc. We do not reserve an area and all seating is first come first served. Tables can be decorated and banners may be hung as long as no permanent attachments are used (such as nails, screws and similar) and will not cause any damage. Please let the event coordinator and/ or general manager know how many people to expect and approx. what time.

All pricing is in the form of a Food and Beverage Minimum plus tax and service fee. Payment must be one tab and must be greater than or equal to the minimum, otherwise the guest will be charged the difference up to the quoted amount.

Please note Fridays and Saturdays are usually busy days in the park or other events may be going on. For events for more than 50 people and private buyouts, please contact stacey@starlandyard.com.
FULL BUY-OUTS
FOR PRIVATE & PUBLIC EVENTS
All buyouts, in addition to food and beverage equal to or greater than the minimum, CAN INCLUDE: private access to the entire Yard, full staffing, security, and a rain plan (weather permitting and up to the discretion of Starland Yard management). Rain plan includes a 20x30 8’ tent covering the turf with parameter lighting, professional set-up and breakdown. Rain plan options, such as walk-way extensions and additional lighting may be available for a separate fee.

Only when a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total expected billing and a signed agreement is received is a reservation confirmed. Please see event agreement for details.

open events are quoted on a case by case basis. prices increase according to event type, space and time from our most economic option of a single covered container for a semi-private event to a full-buyout of the whole yard with end to end service.
