Starland Yard offers a variety of spaces and opportunities for private, semi-private, and public events. We can accommodate parties of all sizes whether you're looking to host a small group or rent the entire venue. Our spaces include: The Upper Pavilion, The Lower Pavilion, Single Covered Containers, The Turf, and The Patio. Or the whole Yard! What's happening at the Yard?
our spaces
UPPER PAVILLION
An open-air rooftop courtyard overlooking the Yard. It has a bar rail around 50% of the area with high top chairs and a mix of lounge style seating. The rooftop is backed by a vine-covered, metal lattice and strung with café lights. This space can only be accessed by stairway. A satellite bar may also be added to this space.
LOWER PAVILLION
Just below the rooftop courtyard, this covered area of the same size can hold up to 50 people with table seating. Tables and chairs are standard height and the space has a vibrant, hand painted mural as a backdrop. A satellite bar may also be added to this space.
patio single covered container
Adjacent to the patio, The patio single covered container is a bit more private in its own corner of the Yard. This container fits 2 or 3 picnic tables and has two flat screen TVs. This area sits around 15 people and has no standing space.
bar side covered container
This area is comprised of 2 covered containers equipped with ceiling and wall fans and holds 5 picnic tables. This area can seat 30 people and is a perfect blank slate to add your own personal touches to!
the turf
This grassy space has more table surfaces and doubles as a play area with optional Cornhole and Giant Jenga. Sail shades cover this area from the hot summer sun. The Turf can’t be reserved alone, however, the Upper Pavilion and Lower Pavilion may be reserved together and The Turf added on with an extra fee to make a corner buyout. A corner buyout will fit up to 130 people.

semi-private events
Best for Non-Profits, Military, Small Groups etc. We do not reserve an area and all seating is first come first served. Tables can be decorated and banners may be hung as long as no permanent attachments are used (such as nails, screws and similar) and will not cause any damage. Please let the event coordinator and/or general manager know how many people to expect and approx what time.
All pricing is in the form of a Food and Beverage Minimum plus tax and service fee. Payment must be one tab and must be greater than or equal to the minimum, otherwise the guest will be charged the difference up to the quoted amount.
Please note Fridays and Saturdays are usually busy days in the park AND other events may be going on. For events for more than 50 people and private buyouts, please contact stacey@starlandyard.com.
full buy-outs: for private & public events
All buyouts, in addition to food and beverage equal to or greater than the minimum, can include: private access to the entire Yard, full staffing, and a rain plan (weather permitting and up to the discretion of Starland Yard management). Rain plan includes a 20x20 8' tent covering The Turf with parameter lighting, professional setup and breakdown. Rain plan options, such as walk-way extensions and additional lighting may be available for a separate fee.
Only when a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total expected billing and a signed agreement is received is a reservation confirmed. Please see event agreement for details.

Open events are quoted on a case by case basis. Prices increase according to event type, space and time from our most economic option of a single covered container for a semi-private event to a full-buyout of the whole yard with end-to- end service.
