I'm visiting and left my ID at home, can I still grab a beer?

We are an all-ages venue. However, we do require a valid, government-issued ID to consume alcohol. If you would like to drink, please present a physical, non-expired US driver's license, state ID card, military ID, passport, or visa at the host stand and we will give you a 21+ wristband.

Are there age restrictions?

The Yard is a family-friendly environment with the exception of the 21+ Upper Pavilion, so we encourage all ages. We are a large space with a high volume of guests, so child supervision is required.

Are you dog friendly?

We love dogs! We just ask that you keep your dogs on a leash and be considerate by taking them off premises for the necessaries and and cleaning up after them.

Is Starland Yard wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Most of the Yard is flat and simple to navigate in a wheelchair, walker or stroller.

Do you take reservations?

Uness booking an Hourly Reservation or Semi Private Event, all seating is first come first served. Please see our Events page for more information!

Where do I park?

Our parking lot is located on Whitaker St. between 40th and 41st St. There is additional non-metered street parking throughout the neighborhood.

Is there a cover to get in?

Accepted Answer

There is no cover to get in! If you decide to open a tab with us, we pre-authorize your card for $5. This is not a charge, but please be aware that your bank may hold funds in a pending status for 3-5 business days.

How does payment work?

When you arrive, you will first visit the check-in booth. There you will swipe your card to set up a tab under your name. All food and beverage purchases within the park will be added to your tab. When you decide to leave, simply visit the back of the check-out booth to close your tab. If you would like to pay with cash, just swipe your card at check-in and pay cash at check-out. If you do not want to use a card at all, please speak with one of our host staff about other options.

What kind of food trucks do you have?

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Starland Yard was created to support brilliant local chefs and bartenders. No outside food or drinks are permitted. We do allow a cake or cupcakes for special occasions.

Is the Starland District an "open container" area?

Accepted Answer

Open alcohol containers are not allowed beyond the downtown/historic district of Savannah (north of Forsyth Park). However, Desoto Ave is a private right of way, so folks can bring a drink just outside our entrance (i.e. to smoke or meet friends) but may not turn onto 40th or 41st st. with a drink in hand.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed inside the Yard. We provide a smoking post near our front entrance for proper disposal of cigarette butts.

Can the Yard be rented out for private/special events?

Are you open year-round?

Yes, we are open 7 days a week except for major holidays. We update our online social platforms with closures.

Are you open when it rains?

We are open rain or shine with the exception of a State of Emergency. Come by and see us for some rainy day specials!

Can I watch my favorite team there?

We have three big screen TVs and throughout the year we show various sporting events. There is no guarantee that specific games will be on unless they are specifically advertised (please see social media).
